A move back to the Bundesliga could be on the cards for former VfB Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic.
According to Sky Austria, the 29-year-old Wolverhampton striker has attracted interest from two unnamed clubs from Germany’s top flight.
Venezia FC, US Sassuolo, Genoa and OGC Nice are also said to be interested in the Austrian international, who has one year left on his contract with Wolves.
Kalajdzic spent last season on loan at Austrian outfit LASK Linz, racking up seven goals and 11 assists in 27 appearances.
Injury problems have disrupted Kalajdzic’s career since his €18 million move from Stuttgart to Wolverhampton in 2022.
He made a brief return to the Bundesliga in January 2024, scoring once and providing two assists in six appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt on loan during the second half of the 2024/25 campaign.
